On a separate note, I shall be at Wicked Faire helping out Psyche Corporation at her merch table, selling not only her music and posters and such, but bullet shell crowns like she is wearing here, and some other special surprises that I will be making specifically for her! Come out and see her perform, and come visit me at her table, and see what I have come up with to promote her! (hint: these may include handpainted corsets!)

So the second of my three new years resolutions is to have more photo shoots geared towards a high fashion aesthetic (the third is to obtain more hatboxes in which to store my unwieldy headpiece collection!).

Luckily, I have been working with Iconography by... an awesome photography duo who have been very open to experimenting with me, and patient when I speak in very un-technical vernacular ("I want her to look dusty!" or "Its too soft/shiny/flat/boring!")

Here is a shoot containing some of the garments from the glass box collection modeled by the lovely Jennifer Parkinson. I love how she looks so vulnerable in some shots and so vicious in others!

There are a few more looks from this day of shooting, and when they are released, I shall post them as well!

On A Personal Note..

So As most people know, I rarely like to talk about my personal life, other than strange accomplishments I make, Like riding a motorcycle, or learning that banana chips and Nutella really do seem to be worth their weight in gold. I pretty much use any internet front as a way to promote my art, fashion, or business.

But I suppose an explanation is in order, due to the fact that I have been more reclusive than usual, and have been canceling on more than I'd ever allow myself to do in the past, and that isn't fair to the people I work with, and friends that I respect and admire. Also, I'm sure people may be wondering about the reasons for my sudden new hairdo.

In the past year or so, whenever I couldn't make it to something I previously wanted to attend, I'd usually attribute it to family stuff. And though there is tons of family drama aside from the main issues, (as in any family, I'm sure) the main reason I've been sticking close to home lately is that I have multiple family members who are struggling with cancer. So I can imagine that it is pretty awful to go through what they are feeling, and the most I can really do is keep them company, keep them feeling positive, and perhaps try to get better at cooking, so that the snacks I make to cheer them up aren't so terrible.

As for the hair-do change, one family member is very self conscious about losing their hair due to treatment, so I found a website in which one can send in hair, and get a wig made from it. (Apparently a good wig takes about 3 ponytails worth of hair, but I had about 2 attached to my head, anyway. And they add some when they make it).

So I went over to my good friend Michelle, who is the only hairdresser I allow to hold scissors near my head, at Hair to Dye For. It is a fabulous salon, and the people who work there are very warm and inspiring people. And I told her of my intentions for my hair, and we had to hug and stuff before we got started.

So this is how my hair has been since I had the ability to grow it, other than a weird moment in 8th grade that I quickly regretted. Though it's more wavy here since it had been braided all day.

And this is how it was in the middle, after we acquired the ponytails needed for my wig project. I almost had her stop cutting at this point, since it already looked really cute, but I figured if my hair is going to be completely different, we may as well play it for what it's worth.

And here is the final result. I am completely happy with it, and have absolutely no regrets. However, I will admit, that it took me about 2 weeks to get used to having short hair. Shampooing is a strange experience now, since I no longer need half the bottle just so that the whole scalp can be invited to the party.

So aside from making a wig, another big reason for cutting my hair is that I wanted to show that things like hair are not the most important thing, even to me, a person who is used to getting it stuck in car doors and using it to cover my face when I need a good hiding place.

I suppose the moral of the story is: be good to each other! Being positive and supportive are sometimes the best forms of medicine! For any issue, pretty much, ever.

And also that I heart you all, and please do not take it as a personal affront if I am slow in responding to things. In any case, one of my 3 new years resolutions is to be better at keeping in touch and responding to people. So fingers crossed, it will work!

So I was inspired by those washed out Marc Jacobs ads, and some other similar ones I've been seeing lately, so I decided to play around with this photo of my Silk Cowl Dress from my Glass Box collection, modeled by my lovely sister, Maria Costa.

Lately I have been realizing that I do not have nearly enough photos of my work outside of shows that they are in, and I am trying to rectify that. I am beginning by trying out different ideas and aesthetics for the photos, since different things will work for certain collections. Stay tuned for more experiments!

On Sunday I premiered my collection Glass Box, which took the form of mimes to express breaking free of invisible barriers, a mantra I hope to always live by. It took place at the Dumbo Lofts, hosted by Brooklyn Indie Market.

So this last Sunday at Brooklyn Indie Market, I presented my collection Glass Box, and afterwards, my opening model, none other than the fantabulous Psyche Corporation, performed a number of her songs whilst still wearing the look from the show!

I premier my new collection, Glass Box, a collection about mimes and breaking through invisible restraints, at Brooklyn Indie Market. This is my fourth year doing this show with the market, and each year, it gets better. The Market opens at 10am, and the fashion show starts at 6pm, so get there early!

This year, I will have 14 or 15 models, and a fabulous vending booth right next to the main entrance staircase. I will also be creating a window display with my booth in the big window right next to the main door.

Also, for everyone who attended last year, and thought that the runway setup was not as visible as it could have been, please know that I will be building a raised runway, and press and photographer sections will be more carefully thought out, so that everyone in the audience can see.

I will be the first designer to show my work at 6pm, other designers include Alex London, and Berit NY.

Psyche Corporation's Performance at Anachronism

Once again I had the pleasure of dressing Psyche Corporation for her performance at Anachronism. This time, she wore a red skirt with snaps up the front from my Monstrous collection, and a corset covered in antique industrial spools.

She looked awesome as usual, and her performance was tremendously influenced by her new band members, cellist Michael Lunapiena and guitarist Paul Hoppe. Soon she will have another mysterious member of her band.. playing bass and saxaphone... I wonder who that might be..

Also, these marvelous photos were taken by the one and only Babs Daniels, a lovely creature, made of what can only be described as sunshine-joy-fun-penguins.

And here's some pictures of my masks in the dressing room. Babs is so good at taking photos of still lives!

And here's me and some friends being outward about how sleepy we were after an 8 hour long event!

Anachronism 3: Visit to Edo

So this post is long overdue. Anachronism NYC: Visit To Edo occurred at Webster Hall in August, and I had a fashion show there that was vaguely based on Kabuki and animal totems. It was a fun show, I had very expressive models helping me out, and it was the first time I have ever been onstage in pointe shoes!

I know there's been a gap in posts. I have lots of photos to post.. But I am in a stage of slight overwhelm-ment and reevaluating certain ways to live a simpler and less stressful life. This may include not taking on every single project that I'm asked to do, in order to focus on my line. I will also be getting a regular 9 to 5 in order to fund this goal.

But aside from that, in order to decompress a little, I made a tumblr for myself, and it will serve a different purpose than this blog. This will be where I showcase and announce my personal work. Though I will probably also do that on my Tumblr blog, that one will also serve as an inspiration board. Which is particularly helpful, since my computer seems unhappy with me being an image-pack-rat.

Jihae is revamping and rewriting Fire Burning Rain, a show I helped her with last year! This year should be even more amazing, and I'll be making costumes specifically for her show, rather than just using what I have already.

My spring/summer 2012 collection for September fashion week! I have a very awesome shoot planned, so stay tuned..

A long term project with Psyche Corporation in which we develop a big show that we can take on the road, complete with sets, costumes, dancers, props, and interactive performance ideas.

And aside from that, I'm preparing for FaerieCon in Baltimore, and the Geeky Kink Event in Piscataway. Lots of new strange and magical wearables will be avaliable for you to purchase, and love and nuzzle and own.

A Blast from the Not So Distant Past

I have found that I don't like to talk too much about the work I helped with at Izquierdo Studios. Perhaps I feel like it is more appropriate to talk more about my own work, because I did the majority of the work, and therefore earned bragging rights.

However, now that I'm trying to acquire a position on bigger projects, I'm having to show evidence that I have worked on some big and famous stuff.

So here, I'll present to you some photos and footage that we at Izquierdos worked on for the 2010 Oscars. We made the costumes for all the female backup dancers, as well as costumes worn by the lovely Amanda Seyfried, Vanessa Hudgens, and Beyonce. My personal role in this project was to shop for the materials, and I now think I can cut a lapel and sew a butt ruffle in my sleep. A lot of people worked on this, and I think it definitely came together nicely.

I suppose I actually will start talking more about the cool stuff Izquierdos enabled me to do. Since, after all, it is where I learned my best tricks.

Also, I have no idea why any of this is underlined. Blogger seems to be having a seizure, or might just be in a grumpy mood.

You see it? Good. Look over it carefully. What do you see in this picture? No Rhonda, its not an easy bake oven, good guess though. Very good Timmy! It is a Kawasaki Vulcan 800!

This weekend, Miss Costa got her motorcycle license. And if you kids are driving around with your parents, and happen to see Miss Costa riding a dark green Vulcan, anywhere on the eastern seaboard, it is your responsibility to tell them "bitches stay off the road!"

UPCOMING EVENTS!

Hello All!

Its that time of year when I have a bunch of junk coming up, and I want all of you to attend, and either view a crazy performance, or spend money in my booth! Or both! Below are some delicious photos of some of the pretty, strange, or otherwise questionable things you may be able to find in my gypsy caravan/convention booth/hotel room.

But before you can view them, you must read about the events! Ah yes, bribery.. I'm not above it..

First up, from May 5-8, I will creepily appear in at the National Haunter's Convention, in booth #1809. This convention, which I've heard a great deal of good things about, but have never been to, will commence at the Valley Forge Convention Center, in King of Prussia, PA. Also note, it appears to be ginormous. At this convention, I'll be vending my usual jewelry, corsets and costumes, and may possibly be participating in a ghoulish fashion show.
Second, on May 20-22, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Somerset NJ, I will be equally creepy, but in a more brass-time-travely way at STEAMPUNK WORLDS FAIR!!! Woooo! I did the fashion show for this last year, and it was as much fun as a dirigible covered in robot squirrels. Which I think is pretty fun. At this event, I will be vending, participating in the fashion show on Sunday with many steam-fantasy looks, and possibly sponsoring and costuming my favoritest steam-glam-rock band, Left Outlet. On another note, I will be costuming the actress performing as Queen Victoria, and most likely contributing to the many faceted outfits of the one and only Psyche Corporation.
Third, it is unconfirmed, but I am attempting to breach the dark side of nerd-dom and vend an anime con. More news on this if I end up doing it or not, but I may be shaking up the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, NC, for Animazement. If this happens, be on the lookout for a green and purple supervillainess trying to sell you her jewelry and corsets that are clearly full of dark magical powers. Like the kind that if you touch them, you will be convinced that you are a banana for 27 minutes each day for the rest of your life..

So that's what I'm up to in May. In June, I'll be vending all 3 weekends of Midsummer Magick Renaissance Faire, up in Ansonia CT. But more on that later.

Non-Project Stuff..

After the completion of Winter In The Woods, I finally got to take a breather. And sit down, and get more than 5 hours of sleep per night (it was awesome!). I have been catching up on all the blogs I like to read. Whilst doing this, I became aware that I was spending the most time on blogs that told me thoughts and opinions as well as events, rather than ones that simply post the accomplishments of the blogger.

Now from the start of this blog, I always wanted to avoid the stereotype of the preteen girl who tells her every thought and whim to livejournal. Though I'm now noticing that I seem to be leaning more towards only posting when something huge happens, and it tends to be quite dry. Perhaps, dare I say, I can aim towards a middle ground? Maybe show that though I am a work-machine, I do have time (at least once every few months) to do something like move things around my room, or eat something, or paint? Well, here's some evidence to that:

So my roommate was cleaning out the underneath of a bed he inherited from me, and low and behold, look what I had without realizing it. The story here is that I did some work for someone a long time ago, with the idea that he was going to pay me with a sewing machine, and other junk he was throwing away. When I received all the junk (lovely useful junk.. like zippers.. and a table) I thought he forgot to include the sewing machine. I didn't say anything about it, since he gave me a ton of other cool stuff, but low and behold, hidden in a bucket with hundreds of zippers was this beautiful vision:

Food time! Leftover Tagliatelli con fungi misto, from Bella Paula's in Croton on HUdson NY. I don't cook all that much, since I'd rather spend time making other less practical things, but depicted here in this bowl I made a few years ago, is homemade pasta with amazing mushroomness. I recommend Paula's. Plus Paula is probably the most adorable waitress on the face of the earth.

Aaaand some painting supplies. I intend on painting. It is my first love, and I never get a chance to do it. I'll probably paint pictures of my friends, or maybe depict a weird daydream I had about mimes. Who knows, but when it happens, I'll post it.

The show was a success! Not only was it the first time I had a show at NY fashion week, but it was also the first time I produced an event! It went as smoothly as possible, and i think I'm going to have to find a bigger space for next season, which is a good sign!

Left Outlet on the News!

Hey all!

As some of you know, I have befriended and am now costuming a rather nifty band from NC called Left Outlet. They will be performing at my fashion show on Feb 16th, and half of them will be modeling in the show! They mention this in the video below, and it makes me squiggle with glee!

Here's some footage of them from their local news! (they don't have their new costumes yet!)

It sounds a bit different to me than they usually sound, but maybe it is because they are playing in an empty room. But check them out! And definitely come see them in person! They rock like it's nobody's business!

Here are some photos from last night, in which I dressed 10 models to permeate the audience before and during a concert by Panic! at the Disco.

It was probably one of the least stressful and most fun nights of dressing models ever, and I hope similar things find me in the future! Plus being paid to see a band that is a guilty pleasure of mine was pretty flippin sweet.

As some of you know, I moonlight as an artist's model. Early last year, I ended up working with my favorite living painter, Steven Assael. He is so inspiring, and has a depth of talent that can't really be explained. He's also one of the kindest people I've ever met. And has great taste in music, which was a blessing when one has to sit still for hours on end!

Anyway, this is much more of a victory for him and his artwork, but I'm still giddy to the point of interpretive dance that my image is in a painting of his AND on a magazine cover!

I know that there has been a gap in my posts. This, my squidlings and squidlets, is due to the fact that I am in between computers. This puts a damper on my picture posting abilities, so here is some news that only requires me to yoink things from the internet!

One of my favorite directors, Julie Taymor, is releasing a movie based on one of my favorite plays, the Tempest. Some time ago, through Izquierdo Studio, was able to work on this project. In one scene, the character Ariel (coincidentally my favorite character) wears a dark costume made of shrapnel, and tar, and lots of other black oily things! I, along with my friend and co-worker Amy Williams, and others at Izquierdo's, made those wings!

And I am super excited about the fact that they made it into a few seconds of the trailer! Watch, and see!

Hello everyone! I know it has been a while! Due to computer issues and the general craziness of life, I have not been able to post. The insanity has, in part, been due to preparations for upcoming events. And here they are!

First, on September 7th, a show entitled Utopia, at Les Poisson rouge. Presented by the talented Jihae, more info can be found HERE.

Second, I shall be doing a mask making demo at the Maker Faire! I've had my eye on this event for a while, and vowed to participate in it as soon as I could get myself out to San Francisco, where it originated. But alas! It has come to my city! Click on the icon for more info!

And third, I will be presenting my first ever collection marketed for ready to wear sales, at Brooklyn Indie Market, on October 24th. More info and plenty of teasers on this event soon! It's gonna be a big one, folks!

A Break

My hands and feet are busted. I have mastered the art of quadruple-tasking, and have found out just how possible it is to survive and revive on Gatorade and sheer will. Throwing up, passing out due to dehydration, and somehow bruising my eye socket all before an 8 hour workday seems to be telling me that working too hard might actually be a health issue.

However, for four days, I am on vacation. In Vermont. I knitted most of a sweater on the train up, and have a list of art I've been meaning to get around to. Let us see if it happens.

And... I just saw a moose.

Enchanted Menagerie!

Here are photos from the Enchanted Menagerie event, in which I had a fashion show that felt a bit like a retrospective... I dressed all my models like animals (except Olivia, who was dressed as a strange thing in a mask) from different collections of mine over the years. I am of the belief that the show would have been spectacular, even if my models were dressed in burlap sacks, since their energy and movement was so wonderful! Thank you to everyone!

This weekend, a multimedia spectacular will be occurring at Galapagos Art Space in Dumbo, NYC. Sunday night I will be having a fashion show with some of my more theatrical pieces, and some really great music! And did I mention that this event is FREE??? Holy rusted metal Batman, check out some more info HERE.

Though, for the first time, I may actually be having an assistant in my place for this show because I have paintings in the art show in BALTICON!!! and I must attend for networking reasons. If you are in the Baltimore area, come have fun with us artsy nerds!

Hello all, I have finally gotten over the delectable feeling of getting hit by the truck that is a fashion show, and have some of my personal photos to share with you. I'm sure there will be many posts about this event, as there were a plethora of photographers there, and if I find my costumes in their pictures, I will gladly share them. At the moment, Anna Fischer has some lovely ones of the different designer's looks, taken immediately after they came off the runway.

The fashion show was a fantastic event, coordinated by Brit Frady-Williams, a talented designer herself. She has actually been selected to participate in London fashion week in September this year, but like many gifted designers at this level, lacks the sufficient funds to get there. She is taking donations, and her Kickstarter project can be found HERE. If you can, please consider giving even a little bit to this cause, and I will consider it a favor to me. Brit has really helped me to publicize my work, and is a great person to boot. If anyone deserves to go to London and show it what she's got it's her.

Alright, that having been said, on to the pictures! Most if not all of these were taken by Nick Levinos, a musical fellow who is currently scoring a future show of mine!

So, as I have previously mentioned, my good friend Kelly Kotulak is a very talented a sculptress, prop maker and jewelry designer. We have recently joined forces under the banner Kuriouser & Kuriouser, a new vending identity that you may now see at various faires and conventions all along the east coast. We also have a shiny new BLOG that you can check out, with lots of pictures of our collaborative adventures.

Goings on and Happenstances...

So in the 3 weeks since FAT, I have vended at the Spoutwood Farm Faery Festival with Kuriouser and Kuriouser, a collaboration and vending entity between myself and sculptress/jewelry designer Kelly Kotulak. One week later I had a spectacular photoshoot with photographer Adrian Buckmaster and hair/makeup artist Irene Delgado. A week after that, (this last weekend) I participated in a fashion show at the Steampunk World's Faire.

And now I am resting, because no rest for 5 weeks straight makes certain Kristin's feel like they've been hit by a truck that means well. And then takes their voice...

Anyway, more about most of this stuff later, when I've properly eaten enough spinach to knock Popeye into oblivion, and listened to enough Janis Joplin to propel a revolution! As for right now, observe the Pre-Raphaelite beauty of Adrian's photos, as I fall into a well deserved coma.

Upon finding out that Alexander Mcqueen has died, I find myself upset on a deeper level than I expected. His work over the years showed me that if you wish to create the impossible, and work hard enough toward it, it can be done. As someone who is sometimes told that I take on too much, or that my over-ambitiousness is bordering on obsessive, his work has always been an icon to keep me on track, aside from also being immensely inspiring.

He was probably the closest thing to a role model I can admit to having, as he crossed genres and psychological categories with ease, and gave me hope that I wasn't crazy for wanting to devote my life to silly art projects.

Rest in peace, Sir McQueen, I'm not sure any other artists' work will have an effect on me like yours did.

I have three fantabulous shows coming up, here is some info on them!

March 19th- Spring Equinox Ball at Dances of Vice. My costumes should be fairly witchy and Pagan for this one, and there is a possibility of a dance performance.

April 21-25th- Toronto Alternative Arts and Fashion Week! Costumes will include anything huge and extroardinary! I'm very excited about this one, as I will be collaborating with Imagozine! Not sure which day we will be showing on yet.

May 16th-Steampunk World's Faire- This one is still tentative at the moment, but I may be debuting a menswear line at this one.

Stay tuned, ladies and jellybeans, and there will be more news of the things coming out of my studio, that are less like costumes, and more like fine art-creature-exoskeleton hybrids of wearable art!

These are the pictures from a David Bowie themed fashion show I did on January 17th, at Don Hills (though I think I took quite a few liberties with the theme: is it glam? is it from Labyrinth? No one knows, but its shiny and there was a guitar present, and that's all that counts!). It was a small show, and a ton of fun, since I was so tired at that point, that I refused to worry about anything. I should be less stressed more often!

It was a great night, and I made some new friends with awesome people, and I hope I can do more events like this.

Red in Niagara Snow

Following my rather trying trip to the border of the Great White North, my cohort and I decided to stay in Niagara for a few days, see the sights, and have a photoshoot. Of course, we got snowed in, and were too drained to do much for most of the time, which led us to procrastination.

However, on the day we departed, though it was subzero temperatures, and snowing so hard that the plows wouldn't bother, we buttoned our coats and put on our gloves, and ventured into the snow. Here are some of the images that we got, I may post more in the future, as there are hundreds, and we even took some video as well. Photographed by Stephen Stuart.

An inspiring image from Wunderkammer

I think recent events in my creative life have left me yearning for a rest. not a complete rest from art, mind you, but I suppose i just want to be able to create without deadlines, and without the pressure of a deadline. I love making collections, since it is many sides of an idea, but perhaps mini collections... for the purpose of photoshoots rather than fashion shows.. it lasts longer anyway. For instance: why can't I make a dress based on a dollhouse? Time, thats why!

And maybe, If I simply create, without rushing, then by the end of the year, I will have a huge collection, of things that I put lots of care and effort into! Imagine that! Not rushing for a show!

Canadian Shennanigans...

So... the shennanigans that happened in Canada were of the pessimistic sort...

There are times in life, when everything decides to take a left turn whenever you think you are on track. This was one of those trips.

I left my car in Brooklyn the day before leaving to go north, in order to go to work, and my drivers side window got smashed in, and my GPS, or beloved LadyTron, as I call her, was stolen.

Ok, fine, brush it off, Stephen Stuart (videographer) and I called a repairman, and he was all set to bring a window, and repair it in an hour. He shows up, brought the wrong window, and we ended up duct taping some plastic sheets on, and away we went, snow, ice, and all.

We get to the border. Apparently, even if you are doing a fashion show at someone's house, and helping them for free, it is considered "work" that is being taken from Canadians. Hence, we were put through a stressful interrogation, and turned away, after being told to procure more paperwork.

We get the proper paperwork, go back the next day, and were told (albeit by a much nicer customs officer) that it would just be best if we went home, and trying to get through the border multiple times looks suspicious.

So, after some well deserved duty free alcohol was purchased and consumed, we decided to just have a small vacation in Niagara, NY, since we came all that way, and didn't want to have it all be a waste. After all, we have a jeep full of costumes, what better place to photograph than Niagara?

Long story short, we get snowed in to our hotel, making it difficult to go anywhere, and were even stranded at a Rite-Aid for 3 hours when the car broke down, and couldn't be jumped back into action. Eventually, after we stocked up on food items, as though the apocalypse came early, an emergency road employee came to our rescue and revived my poor frayed car battery with magic, witchery, or what have you, but at least we got to leave the Rite-Aid without being towed.

Finally, on the day we were due to come home, we wake up to a foot of snow outside, that wasn't there the previous evening, and it was a full out blizzard. We still had not utilized the costumes in the Jeep yet either. So we bit the bullet, and went out to Three Sisters Island, and had a photo and video shoot (in -3 degree weather) because by glory I was not going to leave this place after being completely unproductive!

Frozen, and at least feeling like we got something done, we headed home, through a blizzard, at 20 miles an hour.

Phew. I still haven't felt like I've had a break, and have been drained by the experience. Though I am very glad I got to see Niagara falls, and I came to some realizations about my work and myself, that I might not have otherwise.

For instance, though I have a couple shows a month from now till October, I think I need to focus more on having good shoots, selling my work, and expanding the way in which I think about costume. I feel a lack in fine art in my life lately, so new costumes might be more like wearable paintings or sculptures, in order to fill that void.

Ok, that was a longer more pessimistic post than my usual, but hopefully I will have some pictures to show from my trip soon! There were some good points, which I shall talk about when I can show pictures of them!

New Years Show in Barrie!

I am having a fashion show in Barrie Ontario, on New Years eve! I will be showing twenty-something designs (about 5 or 6 brand new things) based on the themes of Snow, and Party! Consequently, my jeep will be packed with lots of party dresses, and white floofy things! I will also be doing a feature shoot for Imago Magazine, which I am very excited about! Some examples of things to be shown:

In other news, because of the hype around the new Alice movie, lots of conventions and venues will be doing Wonderland themed events in the upcoming months. I have been writing a film based around the characters and setting of "Alice and Wonderland" for some years now, so I will be attempting to make some of the costumes in my concept folders for these shows. The writing of my film, however, I've put on hold, as no one in their right mind would make an Alice film at a time when Mister Burton is doing the same thing, but with a few more zeros in his budget.

Anyway, more on my future shows and the address of this one later! I hope everyone has a very happy holiday, full of family, warmth, and robotic starfish!

I was really lucky on this project to be working with many very talented people. I had 4 professional dancers, who not only looked great and danced spectacularly, but helped coach the non-dancers in being really expressive with their movement. I also was able to work with some great photographers, and of course the wonderful Shien Lee, who puts the Dances of Vice events together.
